Doctor Andrew R. Harrison
has practiced oculopastic surgery since 1999 and joined Minnesota Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Specialists in 2000.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Missouri Medical School, interned at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis at Washington University, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. He completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and orbital surgery at the University of Minnesota and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is an Associate Professor in the University of Minnesota Departments of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and is the Director of the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service.
He is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Academy of Ophthalmology and is Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Harrison is one of 30 fellowship directors for ophthalmologists training to become oculoplastic surgeons.
Dr. Harrison has published over 75 journal articles and book chapters related to oculoplastic surgery and lectures locally, nationally and internationally. He is listed in America's Best Doctors, named a Top Doctor by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine and is listed in U.S. News and World Report "Top Doctors".
